MTNUTES OF THE SPFCIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THF. CITX OF NORTH OTMSTED DECIIKBER 5, 1983 Present: President Pxa Tem Yvonne Petrigac, Councilmen Bi,erman and Woerpel. Also present: Ma.yor Robert Swietyniowski, Laxo Director Michael Gareau, Finance Director Edward Boyle, Safety Director Eugene Petre, Service Director Joseph Corrigan, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. Absent: President of Council James Boehmer, Councilmen Logan, McKay, and Wilamosky. Special Meeting of Council was called to order by President Pro Tem Petri,gac at 6:30 P.M. There being no quoram present, President Pro Tem Petrigac recessed the proceedings at 6;32 P.M. to allow time for the absent members to arrive, President Pro Tem Petrigac called the Special Meeting of Council to order at 7:00 P.M. Councilmen Logan and Yilamosky noia present; Councilman McKa.y absent. LEGISLATI(?N; Ordinance No. 83-131 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its third reading. An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, for the year ending December 31, 1983, and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Petrigac moved to table, second bp Mr. Woerpel. Roll call on motion: Af.firmative vote: Bierman, Logan. Petrigac, Wilamosky, [.Joerpel. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 83?131 tabled. Ordinance No. 83--134 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An ordin-- ance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the consuJ.ting firm of Dalton-Dalton-Newport for the consulting services for construction of improvements to the North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment Plant according to the revised proposal in the Step 3 application for the North Olmsted Facility Plan, as amended. Ordinance No. 83-135 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An ordin- ance authorizing and directing the Director o£ Public Service to advertise for the eonstruction of advanced secondary additions and modifications to the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant, including phosphorous removal, nitrification, odor con- trol, and solids handlinp facilities as in the plans and specifications approved by the Ohio Environmental Protection A$ency's permit issued September 22, 1983, and known as Project No. C-391665-03, and declaring an emergency. Councilma.n McKay now present at 7:05 P.M. Ordinance No. 83-141 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses for tfie City of North Olmsted, Ohio for the year ending December 31, 1983, and declaring an emergency.
