Council Minutes of 6/7/83 -10- <br />and requested Mr. Petre's attendance. Also, an Environmental Committee Meeting for <br />Monday, June 13th, at 8:30 P.M., to discuss condo trash pickup and would like <br />Mr. Corrigan's attendance. Scheduled a Safety Comm.ittee Meeting for Thursday, <br />June 16th, at 7:30 P.M., to discuss the Department on Aging, and requested the Mayor <br />to be in attendance. <br />Mrs. Petrigac suggested that whenever possible, a brief description of the topic to <br />be discussed, be added to the Council Committee Meeting notice. <br />Mr. McKay asked if he could change his vote to "no" on Ordinance No. 83-32. Mr. Woerpel <br />moved Council allow Mr. McKa.y to change his vote on Ordinance No. 83-32 at this time, <br />second by Mr. Logan, unanimously approved. Mr. MeKay asked that his vote be recorded <br />as "no" on Ordinance No. 83-32. President Pro Tem Petrigac announced that the <br />legislation had been defeated by a 6 to 1 vote. <br />Mrs. Petrigac asked that the Transportation Committee consider the apeed limit reduction <br />on Porter Road from 35 miles per hour to 25 miles per hour. She has received many re- <br />quests for this and people in the area would be more than happy to go door to door with <br />petitions. Mr. Logan promised it would be discussed in Transportation Committee. <br />President Pro Tem Petrigac announced that Council would go into executive session <br />immediately following the regular Council Meeting tonight. <br />Mr. Logan moved to excuse the absence of President Boehmer, second by Mr. McKay, <br />unanimously approved. <br />There being no further business, President Pro Tem Petrigac adjourned the Council <br />Meeting at 10:30 P.M. <br />6• ? <br />lorence E.
