MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />AUGUST 14, 1984 <br />Present: President James Boehmer, Councilmen Bierman, O'Grady, Petrigac, <br />Rademaker, Saringer, Tallon, Wilamosky. <br />Also present: Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance Director Edward Boyle, <br />Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. <br />Special Council Meeting was called to order by President Boehmer at 7:30 P.P4. <br />Mr. O'Grady, Chairman Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee reported: 1) With <br />respect to a request for a Dl liquor permit for Gary Von Agency, Inc., dba Fraulein's, <br />25700 Lorain Road, Building Department has advised that present parking is inadequate <br />and must be increased by a minimum of twenty-seven spaces; a conforming stairway is <br />needed to reach toilet facilities on the second floor; Building Commissioner is <br />particularly concerned with sufficient ceiling heights, proper ingress/egress, fire <br />separation and mechanical installation concerning the present use. Facility does <br />not conform to building, safety or health requirements of the governing bodies of <br />the County or Municipality in which it is located. Mr. O'Grady moved Council object <br />to the issuance of a D1 license for said Gary Von Agency, Inc., second by Mr. Wilamosky, <br />unanimously approved. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 84-65 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An ordin- <br />ance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of a <br />proposed amendment to the Charter of_ the City of North Olmsted by providing for a new <br />section relating to the forfeiture of office of elected officials under certain circum- <br />stances, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mrs. Petrigac moved to amend Ordinance No. 84-65 as follows: Title to read "An <br />ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of <br />a proposed amendment to the Charter of the City of North Olmsted by providing for a new <br />section relating to the forfeiture of office of elected officials ah adm~.t~,uS~`lict~.ve <br />~a~.c~i.an under certain circumstances, and declaring an emergency." Negative <br />vote: O'Grady, Tallon, Wilamosky. 4 Aye - 3 Nay - Motion carried.
