~f <br />. f Special Council Meeting Minutes of 7/30/84 -2- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 84-62 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance amending Section 549.10 of the Codified Ordinances entitled "Sale of <br />Fireworks", of Chapter 549 entitled "Weapons and Explosives", and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously <br />approved. Ordinance No. 84-62 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-63 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, for the year ending December 31, 1984, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, <br />unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 84-63 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-67 introduced by Mr. Bierman was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1174.06 of the Zoning Code, entitled "Rear Yard <br />Restrictions" of Chapter 1174 entitled "Height and Area Regulations for Retail <br />Business Districts", as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 84-68 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the. issuance and sale of $3,050,000 notes in anticipation <br />of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of constructing, furnishing and equipping <br />a combined Bus Garage, Service Garage and Municipal Administration Building and <br />improving the site thereof, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 84-69 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $350,000 notes in anticipation of <br />the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of purchasing trucks, automobiles and other <br />motorized equipment, together with the necessary appurtenances thereto, for various <br />departments of the City, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 84-70 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $75,000 notes in anticipation of <br />the issuance of bonds to pay costs of acquiring and installing telephone equipment <br />and necessary appurtenances thereto for use by the City, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 84-71 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given-its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $54,000 notes, in anticipation of <br />the issuance of bonds., for the purpose of acquiring motor vehicles for the Department <br />of Public Safety, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved that Council add Ordinance No. 84-b5, an ordinance providing for <br />the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted of a proposed amendment <br />to the Charter of the City of North Olmsted by providing for a new section relating <br />to the forefeiture of office of elected officials under certain circumstances, and <br />declaring an emergency. There being no second, motion failed. <br />Mr. Bierman moved to excuse the absence of Councilman Tallon, second by Mr. Wilamosky, <br />unanimously approved. <br />President Boehmer instructed Clerk of Council to send a letter to West Shore Cable <br />TV Company advising them of Council's approval of their request for a rate increase. <br />There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Special Council <br />Meeting at 8:20 P.M. <br />.Ay ~~ <br />Florence E.
