MINUTES OF PiJBLIC HEARING <br />JANUARY 26, 1984 <br />8:00 P.M. <br />Present: Council President James Boehmer, Councilmen Bierman, O'Grady, <br />Petrigac, Rademaker and Tallon. <br />Also present: Mayor Robert Swietyniowski, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance <br />Director Edward Boyle, Safety Director Eugene Petre, Service <br />Director Joseph Corrigan, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. <br />Absent: Councilmen Saringer and ~i~ilamosky. <br />Public Hearing was called to order by President Boehmer at $:00 P.M <br />President Boehmer announced the public hearing was being held with respect to <br />Ordinance No. 83.-138, an ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map <br />of the City of North Olmsted, which Zone Map is part of the Zoning Code of the <br />City of North Olmsted, by changing the premises hereinafter described from C <br />Single Residence District to Multiple Residence District. <br />President Boehmer asked if anyone in the audience wished to address Council with. <br />regard to Ordinance No. 83-138. <br />Mr. Robert Rhodes, 4779 Columbia Road, Board of. Managers, Jamestown Association, <br />stated that the residents would like to see the eyesores along Columbia Road re- <br />moved and attractive apartments replacing them. One problem is the high density <br />of population and lack of open space for children and adults. If it would be <br />feasible to have some green space at the rear of the apartments or elsewhere, <br />would then urge Council to pass the rezoning and settle the litigation. <br />There being no further business, President Boehmer closed the Public Hearing at <br />8:13 P.M. <br />lorence E.
