<br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETLNG OF TAE .COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />OCTOBER 24, 1985 <br />Present: President .Tames Boehmer, Councilmen Bierman, O'Grady, Rademaker, <br />Tallon, Wilamosky. <br />Also present: Mayor Robert Swietyniowski, Law Director Gareau, Finance Director <br />Edward Boyle, Clerk of Council Florence. Campbell, <br />Absent: Councilwomen Petrigac and Saringer. <br />Special Council Meeting was called to order by President Boehmer at 7:15 P.M., <br />in Council Caucus Room, 5200 Dover Center Road. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 85-108 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for the current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1985, as amended. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by <br />Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-108 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-109 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1985. <br />Ordinance No. 85-110 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer funds for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, for the year ending December 31, 1985, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 85-111 introduced by Mr. Bierman and Mr. Wilamosky was given its <br />first reading. An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, in matter of the hereinafter described improvement and re- <br />quests the cooperation of the County of Cuyahoga and the Department of Trans- <br />portation, State of Ohio. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring <br />three readings, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved <br />for adoption, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-111 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-112 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance ratifying and confirming the offer of the Mayor of the City of North <br />Olmsted to the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority to be bound by the con- <br />clusions of an audit, which audit is being paid for through federal funds, and de- <br />claring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of rule requiring three <br />readings and referral to committee, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Ordin- <br />ance No. 85-112 adopted. <br />Mr, Wilamosky moved to amend the agenda to allow for a motion to change the date <br />of the next regular council meeting, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously. approved. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved that the next regular council meeting be held on November 6, <br />1985, since Election Day is November 5, 1985, the first Tuesday in November which <br />is the regularly scheduled council meeting date, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously <br />approved. <br />_. <br />k <br />
