~~, <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE .COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF .NORTH OLMSTED <br />AUGUST 18, 1986 <br />Present:. President Dwayne Woerpel, Councilmen Lackey, McKay, O'Grady, <br />Saringer, Tallon, Wilamosky. (Councilman Tallon present at 7:45 P.M.) <br />Also present: Mayor Yvonne Petrigac., Director of Law Michael Gareau, Clerk <br />of Council Florence Campbell. <br />Absent: Councilman Rademaker. <br />Special Council Meeting was called to order by President Woerpel at 7:35 P.M., <br />in Council Caucus Room, 5200 Dover Center Road. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 86-73 introduced by Mayor Petrigac. was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1486. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to <br />committee, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 86-73 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 86-74 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the engineering <br />firm of Howard, Needles, Tammen and Bergendoff for the purpose of providing im- <br />provement study and recommendations for additional interchanges on I-480 at the <br />location of Clague Road and Great Northern Boulevard at a cost which is not to <br />exceed Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00), and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral <br />to committee, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved <br />for adoption, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 86-74 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 86-75 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Director of Law of the City of North Olmsted to settle <br />the case of the City of North Olmsted vs Tudor Insurance Company, Court of Common <br />Pleas, Cuyahoga County, Case No. 103430, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well as referral to <br />committee, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 86-75 adopted. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved to excuse the absence of Councilman Rademaker, second by <br />Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. <br />The agenda being completed and there being no further business, President Woerpel <br />adjourned the Special Council Meeting at 8:0 .M. <br />~e~ <br />~"lorence E.
