Law Director Gareau <br />responded that the Ohio Revised Code provides that with the passage of Resolu- <br />tion No. 87-83, he must present a legal opinion which must accompany the resolu- <br />tion to Columbus; this legal opinion has to indicate his belief that there are <br />substantial legal reasons for passage of the resolution; Council has every right <br />to discuss these aspects of his legal opinion which is in the hands of the Clerk <br />of Council. This was the subject discussed in executive session. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Resolution No. 87-83 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />A resolution objecting to the renewal of the liquor permit of Eddie's Nightclub, <br />25973 Brookpark Road, North Olmsted, Ohio, based upon environmental factors <br />which interfere with public decency, sobriety and good order in the neighborhood, <br />and decl~.ring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of the rule re- <br />quiring three readings as well as referral to committee, second by Mr. Tallon, <br />unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, <br />unanimously approved. Resolution No. 87-83 adopted. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved to excuse the absence of President Saringer, as well as <br />Councilmen O'Grady and Rademaker, second by Mr. Bohlmann, unanimously approved. <br />The agenda being completed and there being no further business, President Pro Tem <br />Lackey adjourned the Special Council Meeting at 10:00 P.M. <br />Florence E.
