A <br />Special Council Minutes of 1/26/87 <br />.,2-. <br />`~' Mr. Logan moved to amend Ordinance No. 87-2 by having it remain as originally <br />presented this evening under second reading, second by Mr. McKay. Roll call <br />on motion: Affirmative vote: Lackey, Logan, McKay, O'Grady, Wilamosky. Nega- <br />tive vote: Rademaker. 5 Aye - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Ordinance No. 87-2 <br />amended and placed on second reading as originally presented this evening. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings on Ordin- <br />ance No. 87-2, second by Mr. Logan, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />87-2 adopted. <br />Council proceeded into executive session to discuss Ordinance No. 87-7, an <br />ordinance rejecting the report of the Fact Finder, Anna D. Smith, in the <br />matter of the City of North Olmsted and Western Cuyahoga Lodge Number 25 <br />Fraternal Order of Police. <br />Upon reconvening, Mr. Wilamosky moved to amend. the agenda to allow for inclusion <br />of Ordinance No. 87-7, to suspend the rule providing for 24 hour notice of <br />agenda items, to suspend the rule requiring three readings as well as referral <br />to council committee, second by Mr. Logan, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption of Ordinance No. 87-7, second by Mr. Logan. Roll call on <br />motion: affirmative vote: McKay, O'Grady, Wilamosky. Negative vote: Lackey, <br />Logan, Rademaker. 3 Aye - 3 Nay - Motion failed. Ordinance No. 87-7 NOT <br />adopted. <br />Mr. McKay moved to excuse the absence of Mr. Tallon, second by Mr. Wilamosky, <br />unanimously approved. , <br />The agenda being completed and there being no further business, President <br />Saringer adjourned the special council meeting at 9:15 P.M. <br />b • ~ ~~ <br />Florence E.
