Council Minutes. of 12/6/88 _5_ <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 88-132 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />A resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget <br />Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to <br />the County Auditor. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three <br />readings as well as referral to committee, second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously <br />approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Boehmer, unanimously <br />approved. Resolution No. 88-132 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 88-133 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids <br />for 50,000 gallons of sodium aluminate for use by the North Olmsted Waste- <br />water Treatment Facilities Plant. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-134 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1989. Referred <br />to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-135 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the compensation to be paid to all hourly employees <br />employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line., and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings as well <br />as referral to committee, second by Mrs. Bahas, unanimously approved. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-138 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1988. Referred <br />to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 88-139 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Section 1301.01 entitled, "Adoption" of <br />Chapter 1301 entitled, "Building Code of the City of North Olmsted",.and de- <br />claring an emergency. Referred to BZD Committee. <br />Resolution No. 88-140 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. <br />A resolution urging the Director of the Ohio Department of Transportation to <br />take immediate steps to establish a new center line for the relocation of <br />State Route 252, which proposed roadway currently provides for the widening <br />and relocation of State Route 252 in the City of Westlake and new construction <br />within the City of North Olmsted, which project has been thwarted by the re- <br />fusal of the City of Westlake to sign a cooperation agreement with the Ohio <br />Department of Transportation, and declaring an emergency. Referred to joint <br />Streets and Drainage, Safety and Long Range Planning Committees. <br /> <br />
