Mr. Tallon have you had this in your committee, sir? Tallon: Yes. Beringer: Is there anything you would like to point out to council in regards to this pending legislation? Tallon: No. Just to let everybody know that this is the. property on the north side of-Brookpark, between Columbia and Great Northern Boulevard and it is being rezoned to the new Office Buildic~ District and-from the existing multi-family and single family Class C Residence. Beringer: Is there anyone in ttie audience that would like to address Council on this legislation? Angelo Skoulis, 24732 Mitchell Drive. I am President of Parkwest Homeowners' Association and one of the members of the Board of Trustees. I live at 24732 Mitchell Drive. As council members are aware, we have had a number of meetings with the developers representatives, at their request. They had. asked us back in April to start havr-g meetings with them to see. if we couldn't work something out that would be satisfactory to both sides and over the past several months we have been able to work out an agrent; the builder stuck to his word; allowed us to have quite a bit of input; made a number of concessions and we did come up with an agreement that's agreeable to bath sides. So,.with council's permission, I would like to have the builder's representative read off that list of con- cessions that they are willing to make for our development so that it becomes part of the official record; sca that at some future date, there won't be any arguements as to who said what and what was promised to whom. We have been here at~:a number of council.~eting.s and have seen people arguing over and-over and over again what the develo~rer had prised them and what was said and so €orth and so on. So, if council is williaig, and the developer's representative is ready, I would like to .ask his to get up and mead off the fist of concessions that they are willing to make on this project. Is it all night with Council? Beringer: Mr. Carlisle, is this agreeable to you? Ar_e you pxepared to handle it in this order? Carlisle: Right now I am prepared to read-them off; I don't have anything (to submit). Beringer: Fine. Richard Carlisle: My name is Richard Carlisle; I represent Biskind Development. Here also tonight is ~y Watts and Mitchell Mize, both also with Biskind Develop- ment. As Mr. Skoulis had indicated, we've been through a long process, going all the way back to March or April a~ad we did bring our whole dvg and pony show, with all the boards and graphs and everything, so if there are any particular questions that.are in the council's mind we can address those. I think a great many of you have already heard a lot of that so I don't intend to go through that. I would like to hit the high points which essentially focus around what we have come to an agreement with with our neighbors, principally the Parkwest Homeowners' Association. The landscape buffer is one of the largest issues that we came upon and as you are probably all aware, we actually built a landscape buffer on our property, behind the resideinces that,as an example we worked through that with them and created a buffer and the parameters of that buffer are that it is to be a minimum of 50 feet between our buffer area, from all residential
