M ~ -~ MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED AUGUST 11, 1988 Present: President Janet Saringer, Councilmen Boehmer, Bohlmann, McKay, O'Grady, Tallon, Wilamosky. Also present: Mayor Yvonne Petrigac, Law Director Michael Gareau, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell. Absent: Councilwoman Bahas. Special Council Meeting was called to order by President Saringer at 7:45 P.M., in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover. Center Road. President Saringer expressed council's deepest sympathy to Pat Bahas and her family on the tragic death of her son, Tom. President Saringer announced that the rule requiring three readings would be suspended on Ordinance Nos. 88-89 and 88-92. LEGISLATION: Ordinance No. 88-83 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third reading. An ordinance accepting a storm sewer easement located on property owned by the 7515 Company and R.A.G. Custom Homes, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for adoption, second by Mr. Boehmer,. unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 88-83 adopted. Ordinance No. 88-85 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other ex- penditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1988. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 88-85 adopted. Ordinance No. 88-89 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. An ordinance amending Sections 911.09 (b) and Section 911.10 of Chapter 911 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, entitled, "Sewers Generally", and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr, Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 88-89 adopted. Ordinance No. 88-92 introduced by Mayor Petrigac: was given its second reading. An ordinance approving a new sewer service agreement between the City of North Olmsted and the County of Cuyahoga under which a portion of Olmsted Township is served by the city's sanitary sewer system, superseding the existing agree- ment, authorizing the execution of the new agreement, and declaring an emer- gency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 88-92 adopted.
