M <br />~ -~ <br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />AUGUST 11, 1988 <br />Present: President Janet Saringer, Councilmen Boehmer, Bohlmann, <br />McKay, O'Grady, Tallon, Wilamosky. <br />Also present: Mayor Yvonne Petrigac, Law Director Michael Gareau, Clerk of <br />Council Florence Campbell. <br />Absent: Councilwoman Bahas. <br />Special Council Meeting was called to order by President Saringer at 7:45 P.M., <br />in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover. Center Road. <br />President Saringer expressed council's deepest sympathy to Pat Bahas and her <br />family on the tragic death of her son, Tom. <br />President Saringer announced that the rule requiring three readings would be <br />suspended on Ordinance Nos. 88-89 and 88-92. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 88-83 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance accepting a storm sewer easement located on property owned by the <br />7515 Company and R.A.G. Custom Homes, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Boehmer,. unanimously approved. Ordinance <br />No. 88-83 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-85 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other ex- <br />penditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1988. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 88-85 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-89 introduced by Mayor Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance amending Sections 911.09 (b) and Section 911.10 of Chapter 911 of <br />the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, entitled, "Sewers <br />Generally", and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of <br />rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. <br />Mr, Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 88-89 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 88-92 introduced by Mayor Petrigac: was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance approving a new sewer service agreement between the City of North <br />Olmsted and the County of Cuyahoga under which a portion of Olmsted Township <br />is served by the city's sanitary sewer system, superseding the existing agree- <br />ment, authorizing the execution of the new agreement, and declaring an emer- <br />gency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, <br />second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 88-92 adopted. <br /> <br />
