Mr, Tallon reminded Members of Council that .Ordinance Nos. 88-I43 and 88-145
were enacted without the emergency clause because they failed to garner the
necessary five affirmative votes; council has failed to meet the deadline for
establishing salaries for .the 1990/1993 terms. Requested that one member
who voted negatively, change his vote to a "yes" only to pass .the legislation
with the emergency clause -for no other reason.
Mr. Wilamosky stated that in light of the fact that a majority of council saw
fit to pass Ordinance No. 88-143 and Ordinance No. 88-145, as amended, he would
change his vote to "yes" in order to provide for adoption within the terms and
parameters set forth in the Charter of the City of North Olmsted. Clerk of
Council recorded the changed vote of Mr. Wilamosky; Ordinance Nos, 88-143 and
88-145 were therefore adopted with the emergency clause activated.
