MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID <br />J~, NOVEMBER 19, 1990 <br />_ 7:15 P.M. <br />Present: Council President BoeYgner; Council Members Bahas, McKay, <br />Nashar, O'Grady, Saringer. <br />Also Present: Acting Clerk Barbara Seman. <br />Absent: Council Members Leonard, Tallon. <br />President Boehmer called the Special Meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. in <br />Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 90-154 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance to amend Sections 1501.0101, 1501.0501, <br />1501.0502, 1501.1302, 1501.1901, and 1501.2101 of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio in order to increase the <br />Municipal Income Tax Rate from one percent to two percent and to <br />increase the Municipal Income Tax Credit to one hundred percent.. of the <br />income tax paid to another municipality on income taxed by the City of <br />North Olmsted to the extent that the income tax so paid does not exceed <br />two percent of that taxable income, and declaring an urgency. <br />Resolution 90-155 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second <br />reading. A resolution declaring the necessity of an election an the <br />question of approving the passage of an ordinance to amend Sections <br />1501.0101, 1501.0501, 1501.0502, 1501.1302, 1501.1901, and 1501.2101 of <br />the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, in order to <br />increase the Municipal Income Tax Rate from one percent to two percent <br />arxi to increase the Municipal Income Tax Credit to one hundred percent <br />of the income tax paid to another municipality on income taxed by the <br />City of North Olmsted to the extent-that the income tax so paid does not <br />exceed two percent of that taxable income, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-156 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance to establish within the Special Revenue Fund <br />Group a "Solid Waste Management Fund - Income Tax" aryl a "Permanent <br />Improvement and Street and Storm Water Drainage Systems Furxi - Income <br />Tax" of the City of North Olmsted for portions of the City's Municipal <br />Income Tax Revenues, and to establish accounts within those funds, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Miscellaneous Business: <br />Mrs. Saringer moved to excuse the absence of Mr. Leonard and Mr. Tallon; <br />second by Mr. McKay; passed unanimously. <br />The agenda being completed and there being no further business, <br />President Boehmer adjourned the Special Meeting at 7:24 p.m. <br />-, <br />;` `----- <br />rbara L.~' Seman, Act tng Cler o / ames D.
