<br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID <br />JULY 9, 1990 <br />Present: President James Boehmer, Council Members Leonard, McKay, <br />Nashar, O'Grady, Tallon. <br />Also Present: Mayor Ed Boyle, Finance Director and Acting Clerk of <br />Council James Burns. <br />Absent: Council Members Bahas and Saringer <br />The meeting was called to order by President Boehmer at 7 p.m. in <br />Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North OLnsted, OH. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance 90-81 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $200,000 notes, in <br />anticipation of the issuance of bonds to pay costs of renovating, <br />remodeling, rehabilitating, furnishing, equipping and otherwise <br />improving the Municipal Recreation Center and improving and equipping <br />its site. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar. Fassed <br />unanimously. Ordinance ~-81 adopted. <br />Resolution 90-87 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. <br />A resolution adopting the budget of the City of North Olmsted for the <br />fiscal year beginning January 1, 1991, and sub~ni.tting the same to the <br />County Auditor, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-89 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $1,010,000 <br />notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds aril. the collection of <br />special assessments heretofore levied to pay costs of improving North <br />Olmsted Industrial Parkway between certain termini by grading, draining, <br />curbing, paving and constructing a water main and storm and sanitary <br />sewers, together with the necessary appurtenances thereto, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 90-90 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance arxi sale of $1,010,000 <br />bonds in anticipation of the collection of special assessments <br />heretofore levied, to pay costs of improving North Olmsted Ir~iustrial <br />Parkway between certain termini by grading, draining, curbing, paving, <br />and constructing a water main and storm and sanitary sewers, together <br />with the necessary appurtenances thereto, and declaring an emergency. <br />Miscellaneous Business: <br />Mr. McKay moved to excuse the absence of Council Members Bahas and <br />Saringer; second by Mr. Leonard.
