<br />Council Minutes of 12/3191 <br />LEGISLATI(~T TO BE TABLED (CONTINUED) <br />Reso ution No. - was given its second reading. A resolution of the City <br />Council expressing the Council's intent arx3. policy to refrain from issuing or <br />establishing a new tax for the purpose of constructing the Basset Stearns <br />extension in the event the same is passed by the electorate anti the issue that is <br />on the ballot on November 5, 1988, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay waved to <br />table; second by Mrs. Babas; passed unanimously. Resolution No. 88-104 tabled. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 91-132 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance providing. for the amt of the Zone Map of the City of North <br />Olmsted, which Zone Map is pert of the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted, <br />by changing the premises hereinafter described from Single Residence A District to <br />Mixed Use District A. Mrs. Beringer moved for adoption; second by Wis. Babas. <br />Roll call: Beringer, yes; Babas, yes; Leonard, yes; Lind, yes; McKay, no; Nashar, <br />yes; Tallon, yes. Nation passed with 6 ayes axe 1 no. Ordinance No. 91-132 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 91-151 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing ttte Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />the construction of stormwster culvert and ditch improvements on the Riee Ditch ixi <br />the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Nashar moved for <br />adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. Resolution No. 91-151 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-152 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance to amend Sections 911.12 and 911.16 of the Codified Ordinances of the <br />City of North 07msted. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. Tallon; passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 91-152 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 91-153 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of Mayor Boyle and the <br />entire Council was given its third reading. A resolution. authorizing the Director <br />of Public Service to advertise for bids for the construction of the sanitary <br />sewer rehabilitation, Phase C-1992., improvements at various locations in the City <br />of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; <br />second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. Resolution No. 91-153 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 91-154 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />the construction of catch basin manhole and pavement repairs at various locations <br />in the City of North Olmsted, grid declaring an emergency. Mr. Nashar moved for <br />adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanumously. Resolution No. 91-154 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 91-155 introduced by Mrs. Beringer was <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service <br />bids for the improvement of Clifford Drive as detaile~ <br />file, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, <br />Mrs. Beringer moved for adoption; second by Mr. Lind; <br />tion No. 91-155 adopted. <br />7 <br />given its third reading.
