MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF I~RTH OLMSTED <br />JULY 25, 1991 <br />8:15 P.M. <br />Present: Council President Boehmer, Council Members Leonard, Lind, <br />McKay, Nashar, Beringer, Tallon. <br />Also Present: Mayor Ed Boyle, Finance Director and Acting Clerk of <br />Council James Burns. <br />Absent: Council Member Bahas. <br />President BoeYuner called the special meeting to order at 8:15 p.m. in <br />Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 91-110 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. <br />McKay on behalf of the Mayor and entire Council. A resolution <br />authorizing the Mayor to submit applications for financial assistance <br />for certain municipal improvements, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. Mr. <br />McKay moved for adoption; second by Mrs. 5aringer; passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 91-110 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 91-111 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. <br />Tallon. An ordinance authorizing the Director of Fublic Service to make <br />emergency repairs on the sanitary manholes near the Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant, without public bidding, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon <br />moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and commmttee <br />review; second by Mrs, Beringer; passed unanimously. Mr. Tallon moved <br />for adoption; second by Mrs. Beringer; passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 91-111 adopted. <br />MISCE~LLAN~~TS BUSINESS <br />Mr. M y move to excuse the absence of Mrs. Babas; second by Mrs. <br />Beringer; passed unanimously. <br />With the agenda being completed, President Boehmer adjourned the meeting <br />at 8:19 p.m. <br />~~ <br />Barbara L.
