Mrs. <br />Saringer assigned the ordinance to the Streets & Drainage Coamittee. <br />Ordinance No. 92-40 was introduced and. placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance amending Section 4 of Ordin~ce No. 92-32 providing for the issuance ar~d <br />sale of $1,775,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the <br />purpose of improving the municipal sanitary sewer system by constructing, <br />reconstructing, rehabilitating and replacing sanitary sewers and sanitary sewer <br />connections arxi by improving anti equipping the Wastewater Treatment Plant, <br />together with the necessary appurtenances and. work incidental thereto, and. <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Lirx3 moved for suspension of the rules requiring <br />three. readings; second by Mr. Nashar; oration passed iu~nimously. Mr. Lixxi moved <br />for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. <br />92-40 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-41 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. .Lind. An <br />ordinance amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 92-33 providing for the issuance and <br />sale of $125,000 rotes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose <br />of acquiring a motor vehicle for use in carrying out functions of the Department <br />of Public Service, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind moved for suspene-i.on of <br />the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. Nashar; moticxi passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Liryd. moved for adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 92-41 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-42 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance amending Section 4 of Ordinance No. 92-34 providing for the isnce and <br />sale of $2,300,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the <br />purpose of improving certain designated streets in the City's street system by <br />grading, draining, curbing, reconstructing the pavement base, widening, preparing <br />the surface and paving, by constructing, reconstructing ar~d rehabilitating storm <br />sewers, .sanitary sewers and water mains, by reconstructing curbs, sidetaal.ks and. <br />driveway aprons, by acquiring arxi installing signals, signs and other equipment <br />and devices to direct and control traffic and by installing underground. wires and <br />cables for street lighting, all where necessary, together with the necessary <br />appurtenances aril work incidental thereto, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lind <br />moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mrs. <br />Saringer; motion passed unanimc~tsly. Mr. Lind moved for adoption; secon3 by Mrs. <br />Saringer; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 92-42 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 92-43 was introduced acid placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle on <br />behalf of himself and the entire Council. A resolution supporting National <br />Com~nrni.ty Development Week, April 20-26, 1992, and declwing sn emergency. Mrs. <br />Beringer moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings; second by Mr. <br />Lind; motion passed unanimously. Mrs..Swinger moved for adoption; secorxi by Mr. <br />Lind; motion passed unanimously. .Resolution No. 92-43 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-44 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle.
