MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH Oil"LSTED <br />THURSDAY, MARCH 5, 1992 <br />7 P.M. <br />Present: Council President Boetmer, Council Members Babas, Leonard, Lind <br />McKay, Musial, Nashar, Saringer. <br />Also Present: Mayor Ed Boyle, Clerk of Council Barbara Semen. <br />Council President Boehmer called the special Council meeting to order at 7:03 <br />p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Or'inance No. 92-13 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and expenditures for the <br />City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1992, as amended.. Mr. <br />Lind moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Babas. Roll call: Lind, yes; Babas, <br />yes; Leonard, ~; Musial, yes; Nashar, yes; Saringer, yes; McKay, no. Motion <br />passed with five affirmative votes and two negative votes. Ordinance Na. 92-13 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-22 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance to establish enterprise zones within the City of North Olmsted, arxi <br />declaring an urgency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring <br />three readings; second by Mrs. Babas; passed unanimously. Mr. McKay moved for <br />adoption; second by Mrs. Babas; passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 92-22 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 92-23 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing rates of compensation for various administrative and <br />legislative persormel axul. declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 92-25 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing a linked deposit program for residential real property <br />improvements in the City of North Olmsted, pursuant to Section 135.80 of the Ohio <br />Revised Code, and declaring an emergency. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come <br />before Council, President Boehaner adjourned the meeting at 7:06 p.m. <br />Barbara L.
