MINUTES OF TEIE SPECIAL MEETING OF TEIE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTID <br />TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 1992 <br />7:30 P.M. <br />Present: Council President Boel~ner, Council Members Leonard, Lind, McKay, <br />Musial, Nashar, Saringer. <br />Also Present: Mayor Ed Boyle, Clerk of Council Barbara Seman. <br />Absent: Council Member Bahas. <br />Council President Boehmer called the meeting to order at 7:34 p.m. in the Council <br />Conference Room, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />LEGISLATION <br />0~inance No. 91-175 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading as <br />amended. An ordinance establishing a com~mity reinvestment area under the <br />provisions of Sections 3735.65 through 3735.70, inclusive, of the Ohio Revised <br />Code, designating a Housing Officer, establishing a Comtm~nity Reinvestment Housing <br />Council, and declaring an emergency, as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 92-12 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its second reading as <br />amended. An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $4,300,000 rues, <br />in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving certain <br />designated streets in the City's street system by grading, draining, curbing, <br />reconstructing the pavement base, widening, preparing tY~e surface and paving, by <br />reconstructing and rehabilitating storm sewers, sanitary sewers and water mains, by <br />constructing and reconstructing curbs, sidewalks and driveway aprons, and by <br />installing underground and above-ground wires and cables for street lighting, all <br />where necessary, together with the necessary appurtenances and work incidental <br />thereto, as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 92-13 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind on <br />behalf of Mayor Boyle. An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses <br />and expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1992. <br />Ordinance No. 92-15 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the North Olmsted <br />Transit Employees Association, which agreement is the Collective Bargaining Agreement <br />between the City and the North Olmsted Transit Employees Association, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 92-16 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Lind. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Northern Ohio <br />Patrolmen's Benevolent Association, which agreement is an amendment to the Collective <br />Bargaining Agreement between the City and the North Olmsted Police Department <br />Dispatchers authorized by Ordinance 90-49, and declaring an emergency. <br /> <br />
