Council Minutes of 06-15-2010 <br />Boiler and Machinery, Broad Form Crime, EDP, Umbrella, Liquor Liability and other <br />various insurance coverage required by the City of North Olmsted, as a package, and <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for said insurance package with the lowest <br />and best bidder, and subject to approval by the Board of Control. <br />Ordinance 2010-79 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending Section 957.01 of Chapter 957 (Alcoholic Beverages on Public <br />Grounds) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted in order to permit <br />alcohol to be sold and consumed at the VFW, Post 7647 tent at the 2010 North Olmsted <br />Community Council Homecoming, and further to establish a revised system for future <br />approvals of such one-time alcohol sales and consumption on public grounds, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Barker scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />June 29, 2010 to discuss Resolution 2010-78. The Director of Human Resources is asked <br />to attend. <br />Councilwoman Williamson scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting for 7:15 p.m. <br />on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 to discuss Ordinance 2010-79. The Director of Safety and the <br />Director of Law are asked to attend. <br />Council President Limpert scheduled a Committee of the Whole meeting for 7:45 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, June 29, 2010 to discuss the Final Report and Recommendation of the Charter <br />Review Commission. The Mayor and Director of Law are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Barker made a motion to excuse the absence of Councilman Mahoney. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Orlowski. Roll Call: Barker, yes with comment. <br />Mr. Mahoney would like to express his thanks to everyone -Council, Administration and <br />residents -for their well wishes and thoughts over these past two weeks.
