Council Minutes of OS-03-2011 <br />specifications on file with the engineer, and authorizing the Mayor, following approval of <br />the Board of Control, to contract for the same with the lowest and best bidder, and <br />declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance 2011-65 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. An <br />Ordinance amending Section 1139.01 of the North Olmsted Zoning Code entitled <br />"General Retail Business District" to permit religious uses, including churches and <br />related buildings. <br />Resolution 2011-66 was introduced and place on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase three (3) pre-owned mowers for Springvale <br />Golf Course maintenance, to wit: One (1) John Deere 2007 Model U-2020; One (1) Toro <br />2004-OS Groundmaster Model 3500; One (1) Toro 2005-06 Reelmaster Model 5510; and <br />authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase, <br />and declaring an emergency. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rules <br />requiring three readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />2011-66 adopted. <br />Resolution 2011-67 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to purchase one (1) John Deere 2011 Model 1200A <br />bunker rake and components through the State Purchase Program and authorizing the <br />Mayor to execute all documents necessary to effectuate such purchase, and declaring an <br />emergency. Councilman Kearney made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three <br />readings and formal committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Barker <br />and passed unanimously. Councilman Kearney moved for adoption. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution 2011-66 adopted. <br />Resolution 2011-68 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a renewed one-year contract with LK <br />Heating & Cooling, Inc. with a city option for an additional one year term, to perform <br />maintenance services upon the heating and cooling equipment at various city buildings, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution 2011-69 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Kennedy. A <br />Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Western Reserve <br />Area Agency on Aging to provide for 2011 Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program <br />for the North Olmsted Senior Center and declaring an emergency. Councilman Mahoney <br />made a motion to suspend the rules requiring three readings and formal committee <br />review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Schumann and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Mahoney moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Schumann and passed unanimously.
