,,~~, MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />,,, <br />NOVEMBER 20, 2012 <br />Present: Council President Pro-tem Brossard, Council Members Barker, Kearney, <br />Mahoney, Orlowski, Williamson <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Director of Finance Copfer, <br />Clerk of Council Gallo, Director of Safety/Service Thomas, Director of <br />Planning/Development Wenger, Director of Human Resources Farver <br />Absent: Council President Limpert <br />Council Member Schumann <br />President Pro-tem Brossard called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />Councilman Barker made a motion to amend the agenda to remove Ordinance 2012-116 <br />and to put it back into committee. The motion was seconded by Councilman Kearney <br />and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-116 removed from the agenda and placed back <br />~: <br />in committee. <br />The minutes of the Council meetings of October 2, 2012 and October 16, 2012 were <br />approved as written. <br />The following legislation will be considered for passage under suspension of the rules <br />this evening: Second Reading -Ordinances 2012-110 and 2012-113; First Reading - <br />Ordinance 2012-119 <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• The Board of Control awarded the Citywide Signal System design engineering <br />project to URS Corporation last week. <br />• The Oxcart Food Pantry will provide Thanksgiving meals to 145 families. <br />Distribution began last Thursday and continues today and tomorrow. Thanks to <br />St. Brendan's, St. Clarence, St. Richard's, John Knox Church, United Methodist <br />and Ascension Lutheran churches for their generous contributions. Thanks also to <br />the schools; Pine, Maple, Middle School and High School National Honor Society <br />for their contribution of canned food, fresh produce and holiday pies. Also, a <br />very special thanks to all the volunteers for helping to pack and distribute. <br /> <br />
