MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />``"~' APRIL 17, 20.12 <br />Present: President of Council Limpert; Council Members Barker, Brossard, <br />Kearney, Mahoney, Orlowski, Schumann, Williamson <br />Also Present: Mayor Kennedy, Director of Law Gareau, Clerk of Council Gallo, <br />Director of Planning and Development Wenger, and Director of Human <br />Resources Farver <br />Absent: Director of Finance Copfer <br />Director of Safety and Service Thomas <br />President Limpert called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 <br />Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />The Council meeting minutes of February 21, 2012 were approved as written. <br />The following legislation will be considered for passage under the rules this evening: <br />Second Reading -Resolution 2012-35; First Reading -Ordinance 2012-40. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Kennedy: <br />• The bid opening for the City Hall/Community Cabin Window Replacement <br />Project will be Friday, April 20, 2012. This is the third and final component of <br />the city's Powering Our Communities Grant project. <br />• This Friday, NOACA's Technical Advisory Committee will begin discussion and <br />formal evaluation of the citywide traffic signal system project funding <br />application. The final determination will be made in June. <br />• The Recreation Center hired a Program Supervisor and he will start next week. <br />• The Easter Egg Hunt was a great success. There were close to 1,000 people at the <br />park and 385 participants of all ages. <br />• The Fish Fry Lenten season is over and was very successful. This is the third year <br />the city has offered the Fish Fry since it was discontinued prior to him taking <br />office. In 2010 and 2011, sales were around $10,000. This year, they reached <br />nearly $19,000. <br />• Mother's Day Brunch at Springvale will be Sunday, May 13, 2012. Seating is <br />available at 10:30 a.m., Noon, and 1:30 p.m. Reservations are recommended. <br />
