The Finance <br />`~ Director has requested suspension of the rules on this Ordinance. <br />Councilman Mahoney, Chairman of the Building, Zoning & Development Committee: <br />The BZD Committee met Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 7:15 p.m. Present were committee <br />members Mahoney, Kearney and Barker; Council President Limpert; Council members <br />Brossard, Orlowski, Schumann and Williamson; Planning/Development Director <br />Wenger. <br />• Discussed was CMS 12-02 Nissan of North Olmsted located at 28596 Lorain <br />Road. This proposal consists of demolishing an existing building in order to <br />expand the parking that is available for the dealership along with certain site <br />improvements. This was approved by the Planning and Design Commission with <br />five conditions and it also went before the Board of Zoning Appeals which <br />granted four variances. The committee voted 3-0 to recommend approval of <br />CMS 12-02 Nissan of North Olmsted. <br />Councilman Mahoney made a motion to approve CMS 12-02 Nissan of North Olmsted <br />located at 28596 Lorain Road subject to the conditions set forth by the Planning and <br />Design Commission. The motion was seconded by Councilman Brossard and passed <br />unanimously. CMS 12-02 Nissan of North Olmsted approved. <br />AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION <br />No audience comments. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution 2012-20 introduced by Councilman Orlowski on behalf of himself and <br />Councilman Barker was given its third reading. A Resolution in opposition to the State <br />of Ohio pursuing control of municipal income tax collection and declaring an emergency, <br />as amended. Councilman Orlowski moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Barker and passed unanimously. Resolution 2012-20 adopted. <br />Ordinance 2012-25 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance enacting new Chapter 944 of the Streets, Utilities and Public Services Code, <br />entitled "Indigent Burial". Councilwoman Williamson moved for adoption. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Mahoney and passed unanimously. Ordinance 2012-25 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution 2012-35 introduced by Mayor Kennedy was given its second reading.
