I am enclosin a~ 1, 1 documents that were handed out to us at the budget hearing. <br />The Budget hearing ended at 2:25 in the afternoon. <br />Mr. Barker made a motion to recommend approval of 2013-12 with the above discussed <br />amendments with suspension which was seconded by Mr. Schuman and the vote was 3 to 0 for <br />approval <br />I would like to take this time to thank our Finance Director Carrie Copfer for havin alg 1 things in <br />order and readYto go as well as the personnel involved from the administration who took their <br />Saturda ty O SUUpIy information for the budget. I would also like to ig ve my appreciation to my <br />Finance Committee and the rest of Council for their attendance on a very snowy Saturday. Finally, in <br />my almost 8 years on Council and 15 years of attendance at meetin sg~this year was a great <br />accomplishment for our City. To do a budget hearin in a day and have only two minor amendments <br />to this legislation is pretty damn~tood. A few of us who have been here awhile will remember many <br />days of hearings many changes and it took a lot of effort. My thanks again to all for making the <br />2013 budget and probably my last as the Finance Chairman a reg~L at experience. <br />a ag in to make sure all thins were covered. Ms. Copfer found a few items that we discussed this <br />evening and then amended the Ordinance. The two issues found were, we needed to transfer <br />$13,16b.00 from sewer revenue to sewer improvement fund due to some final numbers so the debt <br />Service in the Sewer Improvement fund is $ 168,166.00 and also $ 75,616.00 interest payment into <br />,the Bond Retirement fund, one clerical error which was taking out the emergency clause in the title. <br />improvement, $75,616.00 interest payment added to the Bond Retirement Fund alongLwith the <br />removal of the emergencyclause in the the and ask for a second... <br />
