^+ e <br />Council Minutes of 4/6193 <br />LEGISLATION(continued) <br />Ordinance No. 93- was introduced and placed oar first reading by Mayor Boyle. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept on behe].f of the City of North Olmsted <br />a gift consisting of one concession trailer valued at approximately $2,500 from <br />the Cleveland Coca Cola Bottling Company to be used by the North 0]msted <br />Recreation Department. <br />Resolution No. 93-47 was introduced by Mayor Boyle on behalf of himself and the <br />entire Council. A resolution reeoganizi.ng April as Fair Housing Mcmth. Mr. <br />Leonard moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee <br />review; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Mr. Leonard moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 93-47 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 93-48 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $260,000 notes, in anticipa- <br />tion of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring, for use by the <br />Department of Public Service, two one-l~slf-ton trucks, a three ton tanden dump <br />truck, aone-half-ton pickup truck, a one-ton chipper truck, a sweeper and a <br />small loader backhoe, together with the necessary appurtenances. <br />Ordinance No. 93-49 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $250,000 notes, in anticipa- <br />tion of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of acquiring a fire truck, <br />together with the necessary equipment and appurtenances thereto. <br />Miscellaneous Business <br />Mrs. Saringer scheduled a BZD Co~nittee meeting for April 15 at 7 p.m. and <br />requested that the Building Co~nissi.oner, Assistant Engineer and Mr. Tallon <br />attend. <br />Mr. McKay scheduled a Safety Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. on April 12 and <br />requested that Safety Director Gundy and Service Director Bohlmarm attend.. <br />Mayor Boyle advised that the Cuyahoga County Department of Development is <br />sponsoring a seminar on fair housing laws on April 29. <br />Mr. McKay moved to excuse the absence of Mrs. Babas; second by Mrs. Saringer; <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Boehmer arniounced that the May 4 meeting had been rescheduled to Wednesday, <br />May 5, because of the primary election. Council will take its summer recess the <br />last two weeks of July and the first two weeks of August. <br />Mr. McKay wished everyone a Happy Easter. <br />Mr. Nashar noted that Streets & Drainage and Finance would hold a joint meeting, <br />but the date is yet to be determined. <br />With the agenda being completed <br />before Council, President Boehmier <br />,~,~ <br />~~~-a-~ <br />Barbara L.
