11~IINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF 'THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JULY 7, 1994 <br />Present: Council Prudent Boehmer, Council Members Bahas, Limpert, Lmd, <br />McKay, Musial, Nashar <br />Also Present: Finance Director/Acting Clerk of Council James Burns <br />Absent: Council Member Saringer <br />Council President Boehmer called the special Council meeting to order at 8 p.m in <br />Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 94-107 introduced by Mr. Lind was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />providing for the issuance and sate of $400,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bonds, for the purpose of improving the Recreation Center Codex by surfacing and <br />resurfacing parking areas and driveways, providing related draiaiage iml-rovets and <br />constructing a building to house maintenance equipment therefor. Mr. Lind moved for <br />adoption; second by Mr. Musial; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 94-107 <br />adopted. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Mr. Nashar, Chairperson of the Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee, reported <br />that the committee had met on July 6 to consider a liquor license transfer from Jou & Kao <br />Inc., DBA Szechwan Gourmet, 24111 Lorain Road to China Renaissance Corp., DBA <br />China Renaissance Restaurant, 24111 Lorain Road. The committee recommended <br />approval. Mr. Nashar moved to approve the liquor transfer from Jou & Kao Inc. to China <br />Renaissance Corp.; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. <br />Mr. McKay moved to excuse the absence of Mrs. Saringer; second by Mr. Lind; motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Boehmer adjourned the special meeting at 8:03 p.m. <br />-, <br />r~ ~ ~ ~~ <br />Barbara L.
