Public Hearing Minutes 2/21/95
Mr. Grace, who had spoken earlier, wondered why he hadn't received a notice when this
issue had come before the Planning Commission. Mr. Grace said that his property was
important to his fixture security, and he wants to know every step of the way what is going
on around his property. He does have some questions that he would like to ask the
Planning Commission, and he would like to be informed about future meetings. It was
explained to Mr. Grace that the Planning Commission had not discussed the senior
housing complex. The Planning Commission simply recommended approval of the
rezoning legislation. This project will not come before the Planning Commission until the
developers submit their plans. At that time, the proposal will be discussed in the Planning
Commission and neighbors abutting the property will be notified. Tonight's meeting is the
public hearing with regard to the rezoning, and Mr. Grace did receive a notice.
There being no further comments from the audience, President Boehmer adjourned the
public hearing at 7:42 p.m.
-~
f
Barbara L.
