Council Minutes of 10/7/97 <br />Ordinance No. 97-91 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Musial on behalf <br />,~,, of Mr. Lind. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for the deposit <br />of public monies with the institutions designated by Council as depositories for the active <br />and interim account of the city. <br />Resolution No. 97-92 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. Musial on behalf <br />of Mr. Lind. A resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of <br />North Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 1998, all money due and owing said city from any <br />collection source. <br />Resolution No. 97-93 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. O'Grady on <br />behalf of himself, Mr. McKay, Mr. Nashar and Mr. Lind. A resolution supporting the <br />upgrading of I-71 from four lanes to six lanes between State Route 18 in Medina County <br />to Route 42 in Cuyahoga County. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />President Pro Tem Saringer asked the Clerk to notify Mr. Lind to take into the Finance <br />Committee Ordinance Nos. 97-83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 91 and 92. Mr. Nashar, Chairman <br />of Public Safety, was asked to take Ordinance 97-89. Mr. O'Grady, Chairperson of the <br />Legislative Committee, was asked to take Ordinance 97-90. Mr. McKay, Chairperson of <br />the Streets & Drainage Committee, will be notified to take Ordinance 97-93. <br />Mr. Nashar moved that Council go into executive session to discuss the purchase of land. <br />The motion was seconded by Mr. Limpert and unanimously approved. <br />Council adjourned into executive session at 8:46 p.m. <br />President Pro Tem Saringer reconvened the Council meeting at 9:10 p.m. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved to excuse the absence of President Boehmer, Mr. Lind and Mr. <br />McKay. The motion was seconded by Mr. Nashar and unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Nashar scheduled a Safety Committee meeting for October 14 immediately following <br />the Legislative Committee meeting. Safety Director Kasler was asked to attend. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Pro Tem Saringer adjourned the meeting at 9:12 p.m. <br />_-~.- <br />~~ ~ ~ ~. <br />arbara L.
