LEGISLATION Ordinance No. 97-4 introduced by Mayor Boyle was given its second reading. An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of an agreement with the North Olmsted City School District providing for the sharing of certain municipal income tax revenues related to a project to be owned and constructed by Harsax Incorporated. Ordinance No. 97-7 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An ordinance amending the traffic control file of the City of North Olmsted by providing for the installation of "No Parking Between Signs" on the south side of the driveway at 4185 Danberry Drive and the north side of the drive at 4171 Danberry Drive and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 97-8 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. An ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement with Western Reserve Engineering & Surveying Company Inc., to provide construction observation services for various 1997 capital improvement projects, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 97-9 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Boyle. A resolution supporting the current administration in its policy of purchasing, leasing, renting or taking on consignment goods for use and for resale by city-owned enterprises that are produced under decent working conditions and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 97-10 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay. An emergency ordinance enacted by the City of North Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement and requests the cooperation of the County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 97-11 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. McKay on behalf of himself and Mr. Nashar. A resolution requesting the Ohio Department of Transportation to improve Lorain Road, State Route 10, from the west corporation line to the east corporation line by resurfacing and curb repair, and declaring an emergency. 6
