MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />DECEMBER 29,1998 <br />Present: Council President Pro Tem Limpert, Council Members Gareau, Kasler, <br />McKay, Miller, Nashar, O'Grady <br />Also Present: Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of Council Seman <br />Absent: Council President Saringer <br />Council President Pro Tern Limpert called the special meeting to order at 7:24 p.m. in <br />Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 98-146 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third reading. A <br />resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, <br />Ohio, during the year 1999, all money due and owing said city from any collection <br />source. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Kasler; motion passed <br />unanimously. Resolution No. 98-146 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 98-151 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. O'Grady. An <br />ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 3 1, 1998. Mr. <br />O'Grady moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee <br />review and noted that Council has discussed the ordinance and found no objection. The <br />motion was seconded by Mr. Limpert; the motion was passed unanimously. Mr. <br />O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 98-151 adopted. <br />Mr. Limpert moved to excuse the absence of President Saringer. The motion was <br />seconded by Mr. McKay and unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Limpert thanked Council for the opportunity to serve as President Pro Tem this year <br />and said he had enjoyed the experience. <br />President Pro Tem Limpert adjourned the special meeting at 7:29 p.m. <br />'- ~ _, <br />~~ ~ -,~ <br />~-d-,- <br />Barbara L.
