MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED DECEMBER 29,1998 Present: Council President Pro Tem Limpert, Council Members Gareau, Kasler, McKay, Miller, Nashar, O'Grady Also Present: Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of Council Seman Absent: Council President Saringer Council President Pro Tern Limpert called the special meeting to order at 7:24 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. LEGISLATION Resolution No. 98-146 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third reading. A resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 1999, all money due and owing said city from any collection source. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mrs. Kasler; motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 98-146 adopted. Ordinance No. 98-151 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. O'Grady. An ordinance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 3 1, 1998. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review and noted that Council has discussed the ordinance and found no objection. The motion was seconded by Mr. Limpert; the motion was passed unanimously. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-151 adopted. Mr. Limpert moved to excuse the absence of President Saringer. The motion was seconded by Mr. McKay and unanimously approved. Mr. Limpert thanked Council for the opportunity to serve as President Pro Tem this year and said he had enjoyed the experience.
