Council Minutes of 12/15/98 <br />Mrs. Saringer noted that Mrs. Kasler had been selected as a magistrate for the <br />~,* Community Youth Diversion Program and expressed congratulations from everyone. <br />Mrs. Kasler expressed her thanks. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 98-111 introduced by Mr. Nashar was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Sections 1139.01 and 1145.03 of the Zoning Code of the City of <br />North Olmsted, to change the conditions under which animal hospitals and pet shops are <br />permitted uses within the General Retail Business District of the city, and providing for <br />dog and cat kennels to become permitted uses within the Limited Industry-Industrial Park <br />District of the city. Mr. Nashar moved for adoption; second by Mr. Gareau; motion <br />passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-111 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 98-132 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1321.01 of Chapter 1321 of the Codified Ordinances entitled <br />"Permit and Inspection Fees," in order to establish permit and inspection fees for wireless <br />communications towers, antenna, and related facilities, as amended, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Gareau; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-132 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 98-134 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance establishing and fixing the compensation for Council-at-Large members for the <br />term of office commencing January 1, 2000 through December 31, 2003. Mr. O'Grady <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 98-134 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 98-135 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City <br />of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1999, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. <br />Ordinance No. 98-135 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 98-139 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 171.06 of Chapter 171 of the Administrative Code, entitled <br />"Community Reinvestment," in order to provide a new procedure and a new fee schedule <br />for the review of tax exemption applications, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Limpert <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. Gareau; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 98-139 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 98-140 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Ordinance No. 97-124 which provided for the imposition of a $50 <br />administrative fee upon parents and other guardians of juveniles who violated program <br />guidelines for the Youth Development Program's (YDP) Restitution Project, and <br />declaring an emergency.
