MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />SATURDAY, JULY 4, 1998 <br />Present: Council President Saringer, Council Members Gareau, Kasler, Limpert, <br />McKay, Miller, Nashar, O'Grady <br />Also Present: Mayor Musial, Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of Council Seman <br />Council President Saringer called the special meeting to order at 9 a.m. in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 98-73 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. O'Grady. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes in a maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $202,000 in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of <br />constructing, furnishing, equipping and otherwise improving an addition to the city's <br />Police Station and preparing and improving the site thereof, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. O'Grady noted that the fiscal officer's certificate was attached. Mr. O'Grady moved <br />for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and review by committee; second by <br />Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by <br />Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-73 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 98-74 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. O'Grady. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes in a maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $202,000 in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of <br />constructing and reconstructing storm sewers and storm water drainage facilities, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady noted that the fiscal officer's certificate was <br />attached. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Mr. O'Grady <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; motion passed unanimously. Ordinance <br />No. 98-74 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 98-75 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mr. O'Grady. An <br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of notes in a maximum aggregate principal <br />amount of $312,000 in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, for the purpose of improving <br />the city's park and recreational facilities by remodeling, renovating, rehabilitating and <br />otherwise improving the Recreation Center, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady <br />noted that the fiscal officer's certificate was attached. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension <br />of the rules requiring three readings and committee review; second by Mr. Limpert; <br />motion passed unanimously. Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption; second by Mr. Limpert; <br />motion passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-75 adopted. <br /> <br />
