Council Minutes of 6/2/98 <br />,.. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Ate:, Mrs. Saringer announced that aCouncil-as-a-Whole Committee meeting would be held on <br />Thursday, June 4, at 6 p.m. to review the capital improvement list and the administration's <br />recommendations with regard to the renovation at the Rec Center, specifically the roof <br />and the HVAC system. <br />Mr. O'Grady scheduled a Finance committee meeting for Monday, June 8, at 5:30 p.m. <br />for the discussion of Ordinances 98-61, 98-62, 98-65 and 98-66. The directors of <br />Finance, Safety and Service are asked to attend. <br />Mrs. Kasler scheduled a Recreation Committee meeting on June 8 following the Finance <br />meeting to discuss Ordinance 98-63 and Ordinance 98-37 which was held in committee. <br />The Safety Director, Personnel Director, Facilities Manager at Springvale and the Mayor <br />are asked to attend. <br />Mr. Nashar scheduled a Safety Committee meeting for Thursday immediately following <br />the Council-as-a-Whole Committee meeting to discuss Ordinances 98-14 and 98-64. <br />Safety Director Jenkins and Service Director Bohlmann are asked to attend. <br />Mr. Gareau reminded Council that he would be attending a planning and zoning seminar in <br />Albuquerque next week. He scheduled a Building, Zoning and Development Committee <br />meeting for Tuesday, June 16, at 5 p.m. Representatives from the Engineering <br />Department and the Building Department are asked to attend. The committee will discuss <br />Schirmer Construction, Cinnamon Woods and several other Planning Commission items. <br />Mr. Miller reminded everyone that school was out and to drive carefully. He wished <br />everyone a healthy and happy summer. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Saringer adjourned the meeting at 9 p.m. <br />fr < `+''n <br />Barbara L.
