Council Minutes of 3/3/98 <br />,,,,, LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 98-2 introduced by Mr. Gareau was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />accepting for dedication the Cinnamon Way (west extension), in the City of North <br />Olmsted. Mr. Gareau moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed <br />unanimously. Ordinance No. 98-2 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 98-3 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of himself and Mr. O'Grady was <br />given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br />advertise for bids for improvements in Brookpark Road (Phase 1) from Lorain Road to <br />Great Northern Boulevard as detailed in the plans and specifications on file and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 98-3 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 98-4 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of himself and Mr. O'Grady was <br />given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br />advertise for bids for improvements in the storm drainage system in the Lansing Drive and <br />Forest Ridge subdivision area as detailed in the plans and specifications on file and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay <br />moved for adoption; second by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 98-4 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 98-5 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for paint striping <br />at various locations in the City of North Olmsted as detailed in the specifications on file <br />and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />Nashar moved for adoption; second by Mr. McKay; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resolution No. 98-5 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 98-6 introduced by Mr. McKay on behalf of himself and Mr. O'Grady was <br />given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to <br />advertise for bids for installing a local control panel for the instrumentation system at the <br />Clague Park sanitary retention system lift station in the City of North Olmsted as detailed <br />in the specifications on file and authorizing the Mayor to contract for the same, and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. O'Grady; <br />motion passed unanimously. Resolution No. 98-6 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 98-10 introduced by Mayor Musial was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1 of Ordinance 95-39 entitled "An ordinance establishing the <br />method of which fees for the use of North Olmsted Springvale Golf Course are to be <br />fixed" and declaring an emergency as amended. Mrs. Kasler moved for suspension of the <br />rule requiring three readings; second by Mr. Nashar; motion passed unanimously. <br />Resident Joe Bouman, 23950 Gessner Road, questioned the increased rates. Mr. O'Grady <br />explained that the rates were changed to be comparable to other golf courses in the area. <br />Mr. McKay moved for adoption; second by Mr. O'Grady; motion passed unanimously. <br />8 <br /> <br />
