MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />NOVEMBER 27, 2000 <br />Present: Council President Saringer, Council Members Gareau, Kasler, Limpert, <br />McKay, Miller, Nashar, O'Grady. <br />Also Present: Finance Director Copier, Clerk of Council Seman <br />Council President Saringer called the meeting to order at 6:34 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Ordinance No. 2000-158 introduced by Councilman McKay on behalf of the Mayor and <br />the entire Council was given its third reading. An ordinance providing for the issuance <br />and sale $2,750,000 of notes in anticipation of the issuance of bonds for the purpose of <br />constructing, furnishing, equipping and otherwise the improving a free public library <br />building and acquiring, preparing, landscaping and otherwise improving its site. <br />Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Limpert and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2000-158 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2000-159 introduced by Councilman McKay was given its third reading. <br />A resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission <br />and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Auditor. <br />Councilman McKay moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Gareau and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2000-159 adopted. <br />With the agenda being completed, President Saringer adjourned the meeting at 6:35 p.m. <br />1 ~ _J-~ ?~n-~- <br />Barbara L.
