Council Minutes of 12/18/2001 <br />~- Resolution No. 2001-157 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to directly purchase a second <br />rotating assembly from the original equipment manufacturer of the equipment <br />incorporated into the 2000 dewatering centrifuge project, and declaring an emergency. <br />President Saringer assigned the resolution to the Environmental Control Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 2001-158 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Miller on behalf of Councilman Limpert and himself. An ordinance prohibiting any <br />supplier of gasoline to the public from charging a retail price which is more than twenty <br />percent (20%) higher than the average retail price per gallon in Cuyahoga County, a.s <br />determined by the County Auditor, and declaring an emergency. President Saringer <br />assigned the ordinance to the Legislative Committee. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman Limpert wished Merry Christmas to all of Council. <br />Councilman Nashar asked Mr. Gareau and Mrs. 5aringer to introduce their family <br />members. Mr. Gareau introduced his children Danette, Kelly, Michael, David and <br />Allison, his wife Gayle, grandchildren Ashley and Keith, and his son-in-law Keith Ely. <br />Mrs. Saringer introduced her son Jack and his wife Alicia, son Robert, son-in-law Mazio <br />D'Amico and his mother Dorothy D'Amico. <br />President Pro Tem Kasler took the chair and presented Law Director Gareau with his <br />nameplate and President Saringer with her nameplate and gavel. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Saringer adjourned the meeting at 9:05 p.m. <br />Barbara L.
