NORTH OLMSTED CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING <br />SEPTEMBER 12, 2001 <br />Present: Council President Saringer, Council Members Dailey, Kasler, Limpert, <br />McKay, Miller, Nashar, O'Grady <br />Also Preseirt: Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of Council Seman <br />Council President Saringer called the public hearing to order at 7:01 p.m. in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />President Saringer announced that the public hearing was being held with regard to <br />Resolution No. 2001-98, a resolution adopting the budget of the City of North Olmsted <br />for the year beginning January 1, 2002, and submitting the same to the County Auditor <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilman McKay asked Finance Director Copfer to explain, on the debt schedule, why <br />sewer items #1 and #2 were listed as outside the 11.1 mill limit. Finance Director Copfer <br />explained that the voted 3 mill sewer levy pays the debt service on these items. <br />Councilman McKay asked for an explanation of OPWC Streets and OWCA Sewer. <br />Finance Director Copfer said OPWC Streets represents Ohio Public Works Commission <br />Streets, which were Silverdale and Selhurst completed with the OPWC street loans. <br />OPW Sewer Plant is the Ohio Public Works improvements to the WWTP, which was <br />pledge with sewer user charges. <br />There was no audience participation. <br />President Saringer <br />.~ <br />the public hearing at 7:10 p.m. <br />f' Barbara L.
