MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED JANUARY 16, 2001 Present: Council President Saringer, Council Members Gareau, Kasler (took her seat at 8:04 p.m.), Limpert, McKay, Miller, Nashar, O'Grady Also Present: Mayor Musial, Law Director Gareau, Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of Council Seman Council President Saringer called the meeting to order at 8:03 p.m. in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. Members of the audience were invited to join Council in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. President Saringer welcomed high school government students who were in attendance. President Saringer announced that Ordinance No. 2000-117 would be passed under suspension of the rules. The minutes of the special Council meeting of November 20, 2000 were approved as written. The minutes of the Council meeting of November 21, 2000 were approved as corrected. Mr. O'Grady noted that the date of the Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation; Long-Range Planning Committee meeting was listed as November 7, which was election day. The Clerk will determine the true date and correct the minutes. The minutes of the special Council meeting of November 27, 2000 were approved as written. The minutes of the Council meeting of December 5, 2000 were approved as corrected. Mr. O'Grady noted that he had made the motion to excuse the absence of Councilwoman Kasler and the minutes said Councilman Kasler. The minutes of the Council meeting of December 19, 2000 were approved as written. The minutes of the special Council meeting of December 28, 2000 were approved as written. The minutes of the Council meeting of January 2, 2001 were approved as written. (During Miscellaneous Business, Mayor Musial noted that he had not attended the meeting as he had the flu. The Clerk will correct the minutes.)
