-: Dennis Lambert, 25057 Carey Lane, said RTA might want to consider the land across <br />the street at Moen. There is land available there which could be used as a secondary <br />lot, and special signaling could be installed to allow for safe crossing of the street. <br />Councilwoman Kasler moved for adoption of Ordinance 2002-179. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman Nashar and passed unanimously. Ordinance No. 2002-179 <br />adopted. <br />MI5CELLANEQUS BUSINESS <br />Councilwoman Kasler scheduled a Public Safety Committee meeting for 6:15 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, November 12, to discuss 2002-166, 2002-167, and 2002-1'71. The Safety <br />Director is asked to attend. A second Public Safety Committee to discuss the issue of a <br />mayor's court will be held at 7 p.m. Both meetings will be held in Old Town Hall. A <br />third Public Safety Committee meeting will be held to discuss issues with regard to RTA <br />that were presented this evening. That meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />November 19. The Service Director and Mrs. McNeeley from RTA are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled a 6:45 p.m. Environmental Control Committee meeting <br />on Tuesday, November 12. The meeting will be held at Old Town Hall. The Service <br />Director and a representative from the WWTP are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Nashar noted that the Landmarks Commission has requested members of the <br />BZD Committee to attend their meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 11, to discuss <br />lighting for the library. A BZD Committee meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m., at City <br />Hall, on Monday, November 11, to discuss items from the Planning Commission and the <br />landscaping and barrier issues for the Park-N-Ride. The Building Commissioner, City <br />Engineer, Law Director and Mrs. McNeeley are asked to attend. <br />Councilman McKay scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for Wednesday, November <br />13, at 7:34 p.m. to discuss 2002-160, 2002-161, 2002-162, 2002-163, 2002-164, <br />2002-165, 2002-168, 2002-169, 2002-173, 2002-175, 2002-176, 2002-178 and the <br />Council-at-Large salaries for the term to begin in January 2004. The Finance Director, <br />Service Director, Mayor, Safety Director, Law Director and Council-at-Large members <br />are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Limpert moved to excuse the absence of President O'Grady. The motion <br />was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. <br />Councilman Miller said he would set his Legislative Committee meeting after he reviews <br />the legislation. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before <br />Council, President Pro T Miller adjourned the meeting at 10:15 p.m. <br />l+ <br />Barbara L.
