MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />APRIL 2, 2002 <br />Presern: Presidern of Council O'Grady, Council Members Dailey, Gateau, Kasler, <br />Limpert, McK$y, Miller, Nashar <br />Also Present: Mayor Musial, Law Director Dubelko, Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of <br />Council Seman <br />President of Council O'Grady called the meeting to order at 8:05 p.m. in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in reciting the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Councilwoman Kasler made a motion to amend the agenda to remove Ordinances <br />2002-17 and 2002-43 and Resolution 2002-29. The motion was seconded by Councilman <br />Gateau and passed unanimously. <br />President O'Grady made the following announcements: <br />• A reminder to residents that starting Apri18, there will be 2,000 more studerns getting <br />back and forth to school on their own. <br />• During Special Legislation this evening, two young people will be recognized for <br />attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. <br />~P~C.IAL LEGISLATIQN <br />Resolution No. 2002-46 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gateau on behalf of the Mayor and entire Council. A resolution commending the <br />achievemern by Michael Joseph Ball of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. <br />Councilman Gateau moved far suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />committee review. The motion was seconded by Councilman Limpert and passed <br />unanimously. Councilman Gateau moved for adoption. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Limpert and passed unanimously. Resolution No. 2002-46 adopted. The <br />resolution was read in its entirety. Michael was asked to come forward to receive a copy <br />of the resolution and the congratulations of City Council and the administration. Michael <br />was congratulated by all present. <br />Resolution No. 2002-47 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gateau on behalf of the Mayor and entire Council.
