<br />The Building, Zoning and Development committee of council has before it two <br />matters concerning Ganley Volkswagen. They are described as follows: <br />Ordinance 2004-39: <br />An ordinance providing for the amendment of the zone map <br />of the City of North Olmsted by rezoning the rear (North) <br />portion of permanent parcel nos. 232-34-011; 232-34-012; <br />232-34-013; 232-14-014 and 232-34-015, located at 25600 <br />Lorain Road from B residence single family to general retail <br />business. <br />and <br />The site plan known as: Ganley Westside VW; 25600 <br />Lorain Road - a proposal consisting of the construction of a <br />third building, which will be 34, 200 square feet and house <br />~, Ganley Westside VW. <br />History before BZD <br />The record reflects that the above matters were addressed by the Building, Zoning <br />and Development Committee on the following dates: On March 9, 2004 the Committee <br />considered Ordinance 2004-39; on Apri121, 2004 the Committee considered both 2004- <br />39 and the site plan; on May 17, 2004 the Committee considered the site plan and on May <br />2~, 2004 the Committee considered the site plan. With the exception of the meeting <br />dated April 21, 2004, the meetings were attended by the Dir. of Law; Dir. of Planning <br />and the members of the BZD Committee. Mr. McKay was absent on Apri121, 2004. <br />Ordinance 2004-39 <br />Ordinance 2004-39 seeks to rezone a certain triangular shape of property owned <br />by Ganley that comprises five narrow lots. This report discusses the lots as though they <br />were already consolidated. <br />The undeveloped triangular shaped property is currently zoned B residence. It <br />~'"" sits at the northern boundary of a property that is 654.73 feet deep on the eastern <br />~~ <br />
