<br />~~, <br />~a <br />April 20, 2004 <br />METHODOLOGY.. . <br />The objectives of this survey were accomplished through a neighborhood petition. The <br />respondents reside on the streets of Ranchview Ave., West Ranchview Ave., Root Rd., Bailey <br />Rd., and Timber Cove Ln. located in North Olmsted OH who have agreed to be signed <br />participants (71.0%) AGAINST the following: <br />Ordinance No. 2004-39 provides for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North <br />Olmsted by rezoning the rear (north) portion of Permanent Parcel Nos. 232-34-011, 232-34-012, <br />232-34-013, 232-34-014 and 232-34-015, located at 25600 Lorain Road from B Residence Single <br />Family to General Retail Business. The rear (north) portion of each such parcel to be rezoned <br />begins at a line running parallel to Lorain Road, five hundred feet north of the centerline of <br />Lorain Road, and extends to the northern property line of each such parcel. (Original is <br />attached) <br />The petition/survey was conducted on April 18 & 19, 2004 via door to door by Christine <br />Ramella-Burk, resident of Ranchview Ave. By April 19, 2004 (cutoff date), 66 signatures <br />representing the household had been received for the following tabulations. <br />~# <br />• 24 occupied houses on Ranchview with 21 household signatures. <br />'~"` • 46 occupied houses on West Ranchview with 22 household signatures. <br />• 16 occupied houses on Timber Cove with 15 household signatures. <br />Of those 86 occupied houses, 68%+ are against Ordinance No. 2004-39. <br />~,,, • 7 occupied houses on Root Rd. (that are directly affected by such ordinance) with 7 <br />household signatures. <br />• 1 signature from Bailey Rd. <br />• Total of 94 occupied homes surveyed. <br />• 66 or 71 O% ofthe residents survev~~ nrp ~~n-nct Ordinance No 2004-39. <br />The remaining 28 (or 22.0%) occupied homes located on Ranchview, West Ranchview and <br />Timber Cove were not contacted because they were not home at the time I arrived at their <br />residence. This percent is not in any way to be calculated that these residents are necessarily <br />FOR Ordinance No. 2004-39. To my knowledge, there has been no documented confirmation of <br />their position. <br />~ A copy of the original petition is attached. <br />Single signature represents household position. <br />3 residents that I spoke to respectfully declined to sign petition for reasons they did not state. <br />«~ Petition results are not to be promoted without Christine Ramella-Burk's permission.
