MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />TUESDAY, APRIL 27, 2004 <br />Present: President of Council O'Grady, Council Members Dailey, Gareau, Kasler, <br />Limpert, McKay, Miller <br />Also Present: Law Director Dubelko, Clerk of Council Seman <br />Absent: Council Member Nashar <br />President of Council O'Grady called the special meeting to order at 6:46 p.m. in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Councilman Limpert moved that Council adjourn into executive session to discuss <br />pending litigation. The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed <br />unanimously. Council adjourned into executive session at 6:47 p.m. <br />Council reconvened at 6:50 p.m. <br />LEGISLATION <br />Resolution No. 2004-81 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Limpert. A resolution authorizing the Director of Law to consent to a settlement <br />agreement between Connie I. Chakan and the Administrator of the Ohio Bureau of <br />Workers' compensation, and declaring an emergency. Councilman Limpert moved for <br />suspension of the rules requiring three readings and committee review noting that the <br />matter had been discussed in executive session. The motion was seconded by <br />Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. Councilman Limpert moved for adoption. <br />The motion was seconded by Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. Resolution <br />No. 2004-81 adopted. <br />Councilman McKay made a motion to excuse the absence of Councilman Nashar. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously. <br />With the agenda being completed, President O'Grady adjourned the special meeting at <br />6:54 p.m. <br />~~r~~ <br />c <br />arbara L.
