The motion passed with six yeas and one abstention. <br />Resolution No. 2004-77 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2004-78 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial and <br />noted the issue was discussed during the appropriations process. A resolution authorizing <br />the Director of Public Service to purchase two (2) new 2.5 ton single axle dump trucks, <br />and related equipment and attachments, through the State Purchase Program; further <br />authorizing the Mayor, following approval of the Board of Control, if necessary, to <br />execute purchase agreements and related documents; and declaring an emergency. <br />Councilwoman Kasler moved for suspension of the rules requiring three readings and <br />formal committee review. Resolution No. 2004-78 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-79 was introduced and placed on first reading by Councilman <br />Gareau. An ordinance amending Sections 109.02, 109.03, 109.04, and 109.06, of <br />Chapter 109 of the Administrative Code, entitled "Public Meetings," in order to provide <br />for notice of Charter Review Commission meetings and clarify language in various <br />sections of Chapter 109 and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 2004-80 was introduces and placed on first reading by Mayor Musial. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1363.07 of Chapter 1363 of the Real Property Maintenance <br />Code, entitled "Duties and Responsibilities of Owners and Operators" in order to update <br />and upgrade standards relating to the exterior appearance of residential buildings and <br />premises in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS <br />Councilman McKay scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for 7 p.m. <br />on Tuesday, April 27, to discuss Ordinances 2003-86 and 2003-128. The City Engineer <br />is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Limpert scheduled an Intro-Governmental Relations Committee meeting <br />immediately following the Environmental Control Committee on April 27 to discuss <br />Ordinance 2004-79. The Law Director or his designee is asked to attend. <br />Councilwoman Kasler scheduled a Finance Committee meeting immediately following <br />the Intro-Governmental Relations Committee on Apri127 to discuss Resolution 2004-68. <br />The Service Director is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Miller scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting <br />immediately following the Finance Committee on April 27 to discuss Resolution <br />2004-74, Ordinances 2004-53 and 2004-54 and the traffic code.
