MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />FEBRUARY 3, 2Q04 <br />Present: President of Council O'Grady, Council Members Dailey, Gareau, Kasler <br />Limpert, McKay, Miller, Nashar <br />Also Present: Mayor Musial, Law Director Dubelko, Clerk of Council Seman <br />President of Council O'Grady called the meeting to order at 8 p.m. in Council Chambers, <br />5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />The minutes of the Council meeting of January 20, 2004 were approved as written. The <br />minutes of the special Council meeting of January 22, 2004 were approved as written. <br />President O'Grady announced that the following pieces of legislation would be <br />considered for passage under suspension of the rules: Ordinance 2004-6; Resolutions <br />2004-15 and 2004-16. <br />President O'Grady expressed condolences to Finance Director Copfer, her husband and <br />their family on the passing of her father-in-law Ronald Copfer. <br />President O'Grady asked guest Claire Hayes to come forward. The Clerk read a letter <br />from Council in recognition of Mrs. Hayes' 14 years of service to the schools and the <br />community as a School Board member. Mayor Musial presented a proclamation to Mrs. <br />Hayes in recognition of her many accomplishments and years of service as a School <br />Board member and volunteer in other community organizations. Mrs. Hayes was <br />congratulated by members of Council and the administration and recognized by all who <br />were present. Mrs. Hayes expressed her thanks to all and said it was an honor to serve <br />the community <br />Council members Dailey and Kasler, both having had the privilege of serving with Mrs. <br />Hayes on the School Board, spoke of her professionalism and dedication. They <br />expressed their hope she would continue to serve the community. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Musial: 1) Noted that Claire Hayes will continue to be of service to the City of <br />North Olmsted because she is one of the three members he is appointing to the standing <br />Charter Review Commission. (Other members being John Thomay and Jack Konold.) <br />2) On January 22, 2004, he was invited to and attended a meeting of the Fairview <br />Hospital Community Advisory Board.
