MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />JANUARY 20, 2004 <br />Present: President of Council O'Grady, Council Members Dailey, Gareau, Kasler, <br />Limpert, McKay, Miller, Nashar <br />Also Present: Mayor Musial, Law Director Dubelko, Finance Director Copfer, Clerk of <br />Council Seman <br />President of Council O'Grady called the meeting to order at 8:10 p.m. in Council <br />Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />Members of the audience were invited to join Council in the recitation of the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />Councilman Gareau made a motion to amend the agenda by removing Ordinance <br />No. 2003-182 from third reading and referring it back into committee. The motion was <br />seconded by Councilman McKay and passed unanimously. <br />President O'Grady announced that Ordinances 2004-7 and 2004-9 would be considered <br />for passage under suspension of the rules. <br />President O'Grady announced that a special Council meeting would be held on Thursday, <br />January 22, 2004 at 6:30 p.m. on a pay issue. <br />The Council meeting minutes of December 16, 2003 were approved as written. The <br />Council meeting minutes of January 6, 2004 were approved as written. <br />REPORTS <br />Mayor Musial: 1) The Cuyahoga County Solid Waste District has announced several <br />round-ups to be held this year: Computer Round-up Apri15 through April 13 and July 23 <br />through August 1; Household Hazardous Waste Round-up May 7 through May 16 and <br />October 25 through November 3; 12th Annual Phone Book Round-up Recycling <br />Campaign June 1 through July 31; Scrap Tire Round-up in September, dates to be <br />announced. <br />2) There are some drainage and plumbing problems at Fire Station No. 2, but the station <br />will remain open and operating during the repair work. <br />3) The bleachers for the pool area in the Recreation Center have been installed. <br />4) The library project is coming along very well. The cornices and trim are roughly 75% <br />complete. The exterior ground mounted lights are roughly 50% complete. The <br />emergency generator will be installed this week. The water feature will be complete this <br />~`' week. (The water feature will utilize the stones that were secured from one of the homes <br />
