Council Minutes of 10/3/2006 <br />~ ~ ~ continued: Jones, yes; Miller, yes; Orlowski, yes. The motion passed with six yes votes and one <br />abstention. Councilman Gareau moved for adoption, and the motion was seconded by <br />Councilman Tallon. Roll cat1: Tallon, yes; Gareau, yes; Jones, yes; Miller, yes; Orlowski, yes; <br />Barker, yes; Ryan, abstain. Ordinance No. 2006-172 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 2006-173 was introduced and placed on first reading by Mayor O'Grady. A <br />resolution authorizing the Administrator of the Division of Aging to apply for Federal Title III-C <br />Nutrition Program Grant funds for fiscal year 2t?07 on behalf of the city and, if the application is <br />granted, further authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Western Reserve Area <br />Office on Aging to accept said grant on behalf of the city. <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUSIN_,_IESS <br />Councilman Tallon scheduled a Finance Committee meeting for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, <br />to discuss Ordinance 2006-165, Resolution 2006-171 and to have a financial update by Finance <br />Director Copfer. Mayor O'Grady, Finance Director Copfer, Law Director Dubelko, and any <br />directors whose departments are affected by the transfer ordinance are asked to attend. <br />Councilman Ryan scheduled an Intro-Governmental Relations Committee meeting for 6:30 p.m. <br />on Tuesday, October 10, to discuss Resolutions 2006-167 and 2006-173. Mayor O'Grady, <br />Community Life Services Director Dailey, Planning Director Wenger, and possibly Division of <br />Aging Administrator Chavez Anderson if the C.L.S. Director wishes her to be present. <br />Council Member Dailey Jones scheduled a Streets & Transportation Committee meeting <br />immediately following the Finance Committee on Tuesday, October 10, to discuss Resolution <br />2006-170. The Service Director is asked to attend. <br />Councilman Orlowski scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting <br />immediately following the Streets & Transportation Committee on Tuesday, October 10, to <br />discuss Ordinance 2006-12$, possible changes to Ordinance 2006-161, and Codified Chapters <br />741 and 555. The Mayor, Law Director, Safety Director and Chamber of Commerce <br />representative Mr. Burns are asked to attend. <br />With the agenda being completed and there being no further business to come before Council, <br />President Kennedy adjourned the meeting at 10 p.m. <br />K vin M.
