The motion was seconded by Councilman Gareau and passed unanimously.
Councilman Miller recorded his votes on the issues voted on at the Council meeting of
June 19 when he was absent. He has reviewed the various votes. The Finance Director, Law Director, Mayor, and directors who are
affected by the legislation are asked to attend.
Councilman Miller scheduled an Environmental Control Committee meeting for 8 p.m.
on Monday, August 13, to discuss Resolutions 2007-87 and 2007-88. The Service
Director is asked to attend.
Councilman Orlowski scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee meeting
for 8:30 p.m. on Monday, August 13, to discuss Ordinances 2007-82, 2007-93, and
2007-72. He would like written answers to questions he posed to the Safety Director
prior to the June Safety Committee meeting. Also, he has sent a memo to the director
and spoke to him tonight about the information. He would like to have answers in
writing to questions posed by other Council members at the June Public Safety
Committee meeting. The Law Director, Safety Director, and Fire Chief are asked to
attend. Mr. Dubelko had said he would provide an explanation on what was discussed
briefly in caucus about Ordinance 2007-72 regarding an explanation of if information is
requested regarding applicant's information on the do-not-knock registry forms.
Councilman Gareau scheduled a Building, Zoning & Development Committee meeting
for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14, to discuss Planning & Design Commission items KFC,
Bruegger's Bagels, and Walters Dentistry.
